Description

TTI Communications’ Business Services group recommends and administers business practices that comply with TTI and TAMU rules and regulations. This group also provides the necessary fiscal information and management tools necessary for TTI Communications’ principal investigators and project managers to clearly identify client expectations and deliver quality products on time and within budget.

Group functions include:

• Assist with the development and maintenance of the overall Communications budget and staffing plan,
• Project accounting and traffic management,
• Facilitate pre- and post-award contract administration within Communications,
• Produce fiscal and work load management reports,
• Process payroll documents,
• Recommend business policies and guidelines for management to enforce,
• Audit business-related documents,
• Maintain equipment inventory records,
• Manage vendor accounts,
• Coordinate the procurement of travel, goods, and services,
• Process accounts receivable and payable documents,
• Maintain billing and time report records,
• Help identify new business opportunities,
• Oversee the management of service centers accounts,
• Facilitate process improvement exercises as necessary, and
• Work with TTI’s Network and Information Systems to automate business processes as needs are identified.
